Fifteen years ago, national and global tourism expert Ted Eubanks of Fermata, Inc., was hired by the Charles County government to prepare a community sustainable tourism and recreation report.

Eubanks says he was paid tens of thousands of dollars – your taxpayer monies – but was never invited in to present the findings. Additionally, by many accounts, the obvious revenue streams identified in the report are being ignored in lieu of a growth plan that mostly promotes the county as a home to mega housing developments.
